Eggplant is a really healthy food. All the nutrients and vitamins that it contains are very good for you. Of course, to improve the benefits, you have to mix eggplants with many others foods which will bring others essential elements. That would make for an excellent everyday diet. But, it’s well known that eating too much of one food is bad for the health. It’s important to vary what you eat to stay healthy. In excess, eggplants are bad, but in a good quantity they are perfect.

Eggplant: Health Benefits and Other Useful Information

Eggplant is, first of all, an excellent source of fiber, which is an excellent way to keep a healthy heart. The dietary fiber plays an important in role in lowing your cholesterol levels. In eggplants, vitamins B1, B6 and B3 are also found in abundance. They are good for your nervous system (helping it to be coordinated between your nerves and your muscles. They maintain your production of energy (and can also increase it) and your hormone balance. Those vitamins, and particularly B3, help to low the blood cholesterol, stabilize the blood sugar, and eliminate fats. Eggplants contain many other nutrients such as manganese, folate, copper, and magnesium. These nutrients are helpful to keep healthy tissues and bones.

These aren't the only benefits of eggplant. They can also be helpful to protect your brain membrane. And don’t forget: one cup of eggplant will bring you only 8% of the calories you need everyday.
